Today we introduce you to another member of the GRP team.  Over to you Tim…

Hi everyone.

I am Tim Clark and my role at GRP is sales and technical consultancy.  My career started back in 1989 as a humble deckhand on the 65m superyacht ‘KATALINA’ based in the South of France (not a bad gig for a first job!). For the next 10 years I worked my way up the ladder on a number of private and charter yachts to First Officer and Captain while also studying for my BA (hons) Maritime Studies degree at Solent University in Southampton.

At the end of 1999, I started with Brighton based Yachting Partners International as a trainee broker and yacht manager. After six years as charter manager of a number of the world’s largest superyachts, I left to take a position as senior charter broker with Ocean Independence at its inception in 2005.

In 2014, I was approached to take over the London office for MYSEA – a boutique yachting and luxury lifestyle company.

In October 2017, I also took on the role as Sales and Marketing Director based Wahoo Ribs who supply bespoke high performance Rigid Inflatable Boats to the superyacht Sector.

But that is enough about me!  We want to talk about you and how GRP can repair or upgrade your onboard jacuzzi/swimming pool.

After a super hot summer in the Med yacht pools and jacuzzis have seen a lot of use.  All of this use causes damage to the gel coat surface. Sand, heat, ultra-violet rays and sun cream all have a detrimental effect.  The best way to keep this under control is to get it repaired before the only option is to replace it!

Julian and I will be at the Monaco Yacht Show this week so come visit our stand (Burgess stand) or pop us an email: enquiries@grpboatrepairs.com.

Happy yachting!
